CHRISTMAS FLOWER memorials may be made for the
flowers at Christmas, and throughout the year, by putting the name of
the person being remembered on your envelope provided in your mailed
envelopes and dropping it in the collection basket or at the parish
office by
December 12. A blank envelope can also be
used. A special insert will be included in the bulletin on December 21
listing the memorials.
THE
ADVENT AND LENT SERIES “From Darkness to
Light; from Death to Life” will begin on
Sunday,
November 23, at
7:00 pm
in the Mother’s Chapel in the church. At the
first meeting we will discuss the schedule for Advent to determine if
another time and day of the week is better for the participants. We will
also begin our consideration of St. Paul by learning a little bit about
the man and his times. Throughout the Advent series it will be helpful
to bring a New Testament, as we will be exploring individual epistles
and some themes that run throughout his writings. While the series is
open to who ever shows up, registration would help in planning handouts
and room size, so please call the parish office at 825-6920 or email
Deacon Shewman at rshewman@eriercd.org.
